Strange History X

Great news, everybody! I am NEVER producing a video about Elvis or Graceland ever again!

Holy freakin’ cow!!! What a bunch of flops they all were! I had no idea there was so little interest!

And that is too bad because Graceland and the museum are really cool, and I know most people will never get a chance to go there as I was able to.

But hoky duck, ya’ll didn’t wanna see any of it. Sheeeesh!

Come on, everybody! You hurt my feelings. I am NOT an AI Narrator, ya know! I’m an actual human.

Couldn’t you just click play and turn the volume off when doing something else? Something? Anything? I really needed those views. Last Elvis video didn’t even get 500 views! You left me stranded out here all by myself! I thought we were in this together.

Oh, well. At least the Clark Mansion video is doing well. You watched that, right?

From now on I’m sticking to more Strange History of Gilded Age mansions and stuff. I even have some more Dakota videos coming down the pike!

So don’t wander too far!

Happy holidays.

Scott

Maybe it's because Hollywood and celebrities are all going out of fashion these days.

I'm going to watch it right now. I don't get all of the notifications.

Blame the algorithm...

Sounds like you had expectations?

I’m going to guess the algo is to blame - I saw nothing in my feed about your GL videos! I enjoy your videos, I hope you get the traction you deserve!

My crush on Elvis was too big ❤ It's kind of like when Robin Williams went . . . just can't randomly visit with videos because it's sad on a whole different level

We loved the video, and your sense of humor is so fun! You had my husband and I laughing inpersonating Elvis at the dinner table. I won't say how many times I rewatched that part! Lol.🤭🤭🤭 Keep believing in yourself, and here is to the next video.

Scott, I watched every one of them. I liked and commented. At first I wasn’t really interested in watching them, but I watched them after you last commented about them not doing well. I am very glad that I did, but I have to admit that I am more interested in the videos where you bring history to life through the use of AI characters. I was born in 1959, so most of Elvis’ history and passing happened during my lifetime. The manager at my dad’s business really really loved Elvis. I remember when the announcement of Elvis’ death played on the radio. Norm, the manager, was really really taken aback by this terrible news. I grew up in Beverly Hills back when celebrities could walk down the street and they didn’t live in gigantic mansions behind huge hedges. I’m not particularly impressed by fame as it’s just another occupation.

People are fickle, I wouldn’t take it personally. Just keep doing what you love and the audience will eventually follow 😊

I enjoyed all of them, but like the other comments, the notification bell didn’t always ring when there was a new one. This morning I actually told my daughter about them, and asked her if she ever wanted to go sometime to see it in person. I got to say, the car museum was one of my favorites. The blue suede shoes part in one of them had me rolling on the floor. 😍 Thanks for sharing your adventures! I really appreciate them! I miss the old days, though, when you went live discussing movies or famous people. The live chats were a lot of fun

Oh! I really enjoyed the Elvis videos! I’m sorry if they weren’t received well enough. I don’t think people are aware of just how significant his life was.

Maybe they didn't know it was Elvis Presley's home? There's people all over the world who loved Elvis but maybe didn't know Graceland was what he called his home?

Some people loved the Graceland video's. Every now and then you just have to do something for yourself and the Strange History X diehard fans.

Ok...here I go, I was watching the vid's AND then you started complaining and complaining, " oh it looks like a mall, it looks like an auto parts depot, they should have this and that outside ( waever) for to take a photo and (waever else you were envisioning). ..the complaints were a turn off. The restaurant menu ( and prices!) was brushed off (not your diet plan, ok) but that would have been interesting. And lastly why all the complaints about the brick wall...the graffiti, its unimposing, its played out but NOT,( thats the interity of the place) and the surrounding neighborhood ( your tone of voice about it all adds up ). And then the airplane...thats nice, good old Elvis. Scroll.....
