So... not to scare anyone, but I think I may *actually* be done with YTP. For reals this time.

To be brutally honest, I have mixed feelings about some of my content and especially the level of microcelebrity that it has afforded me.
At best, my body of work has positively impacted others in different ways and led to strong friendships in my life that I am grateful for.
At worst, it provides content fodder for freebooters on social media, stimuli for unsupervised and parasocially inclined minors, and comment sections for transphobes to spout "YWNBAW" as if it's a fresh and original insult.

Obviously none of these outcomes are directly my fault, and the artist cannot control how the audience perceives their art. But keep in mind, I started making these videos when I was a middle schooler living in a broken home. I had NO idea my channel would ever get to this point. In fact, when my early Blue's Clues YTPs first started blowing up I handled the sudden influx of fame very poorly and often lashed out at previous viewers - and though I doubt that any of the people I've affected are reading this, I want to extend an apology. I hope those folks are doing well.

With all of that aside, I have been feeling very burnt out lately - in my daily life *and* my creative work. I've been suffering from pretty bad executive dysfunction if I take on a project that's on a bigger scale than something like "Volvic Holly". It sucks because there are so many things that I *want* to do, but so often I find myself getting one big creative burst for the month, then stopping and leaving the project untouched for a long time, until the amount of space it takes up on my hard drive becomes a problem. I can't keep doing stuff like that anymore.

I'll still be posting stuff online, but from this point forward I'd like to shift my focus over to my musical creations (*cough* fishtitan.bandcamp.com *cough*). For years now, I've been invested in refining my musical style and skill behind the scenes. With the songs I've been working on lately, I'm feeling optimistic about potentially hitting a breakthrough despite the roadblocks in my workflow.

I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the years, and I hope that you will stick around for whatever happens next.
Much love and a happy Pride month,
Isabelle 💙

Thank you for everything you've done for us, Isabelle. Been watching your YTPs regularly since 2017, but have seen some of your videos years prior with your 'Steve Torrents A Bob Marley Album' YTP. Thanks to your videos, I was able to make a few friends from it, and a lot of your humor left a really positive impact on me. It taught me that we can do anything that we want to do. Thanks for doing your part, Isabelle. Hope to see you again soon. 💙🐾💙

I’m way outside of your support group (a traditional Catholic sahm in her 30s), but I have been watching your stuff from the beginning. Thank you, thank you, for bringing us all so much laughter over the years. Good luck and best wishes to you.

Thanks for the ride, Isabelle. I'll never forget watching "Steve Has A Heart Attack On Set" back during middle school in 2011, laughing my ass off, and telling my best friend about it the next day at lunchtime. Thanks for doing your part, you sure are smart.

I've been watching your content for a long time now...my kid actually grew up watching your YTPs with me. We have the same sense of humor and your content will be a part of those core memories for him. Thank you for everything and I will dearly miss your videos but you have to go do what is right for you. Wishing you all the best on everything you decide to do!

It's sad to see you go, but I'm happy seeing you doing what's best for your creative identity. You made some amazing YTPs and I've always enjoyed looking back on them. I'm glad we managed to do a YTP Tennis before this decision, I had fun doing that. I hope the future treats you well and you hit another milestone with your music.
