We're sponsoring another Radar Challenge! If you an idea for something cool to do with Phaser (www.analog.com/cn0566), then submit your proposal here:
ieee-aess.org/radar-challenge/radar-challenge-2025

A committee (not me!) will judge the abstracts and choose a few teams to advance in the challenge. Those teams will be provided a Phaser kit, and then work with engineers at Analog Devices and MathWorks to build their proposal with real hardware. Teams that complete the challenge will present their radar at the IEEE AESS Radar Conference in Krakow Poland, Oct 4-10 2025.

So think of something creative (but realizable), assemble your team (it will be a lot of work, you'll want a skilled team!), and then submit a detailed (the more detailed the better) project proposal. You can see past radar projects here:
ieee-aess.org/radar-challenge/radar-challenge-2024

Teams that successfully completed the 2024 challenge spent in excess of 100 hours working on their project. So chose your team wisely, with the skillset needed for your project. And make sure that you can dedicate the time required to implement your vision. Analog Devices and MathWorks will provide some technical support, but we will not build and program your radar. All of the work is up to you. Teams are typically graduate (MS/PHD) students, or experienced engineers from companies that are in this field. But all are welcome to apply.

If you have any questions please leave a comment below and I'll respond. All project proposals must be submitted to the link above by Nov 15.
