I don't mind the different designs even though I was utterly surprised by it. Personally, though, it's gonna feel strange to get used to this as the old versions will get stuck in my head.

shrek 5 doesn't really look that bad ngl. yeah the designs have changed a *little* but honestly they basically switched to the last wish art style lol (comparison of puss from the shrek films and from his first movie)
also i don't really think y'all should expect the art style to stay exactly the same after like 10 years tbh 😭
