Here is our finished King Kong for our Godzilla Vs Kong: Hollow Earth Battle project! With the help of my amazing team member MISTR, we finally got a successful weight paint transfer from the TerraVirtua Kong model to the new COD Warzone Kong model! I also adjusted the hair groom to specifically match the style of GvK Kong with my own personal groom edits. Longer hair around the shoulders, sharper looking beard, mohawk-esque head hair, etc. So Kong is ready to go! I posed him with a high poly version of a Godzilla model one of our team members edited, and I've been debating on using that model for the final GvK project or continue editing the brand new model we have in the works. I feel like if it takes too long to finish, then I'd much rather use this current version of the Godzilla model we have since it really does look fantastic and all it needs is a polished rig.
I also just finished rigging Scylla for the Godzilla Vs Scylla project, and all that needs to be finished is the Godzilla model used in this photo! I'm really aiming to get Goji finished by the next day or two so I can finally start the project. A lot of shots are already animated, they just need the kaiju thrown into the shots!
