That Monsoon wallet looks like a craft project made in a prison, on days when there was no demand for mailbags.

This video made my day! Not only the fascinating content with all the new, the clever, the innovative items, but the repartee and teasing between two great friends was uplifting. Thank you! There is no doubt, though, that when it comes to the assignment, Jamie wins by a landslide. (NOTE: the first piece I am going to run out and buy is the Leatherman….) :medal-yellow-first-red:

I have to admit Jamie‘s selection blew Jon’s out of the water.

Loved the video! I won't try and argue against the quality of Leatherman products but I do cringe when all the minor tools come out in a clump and you have to re-fold the ones you don't want. So, Jamie's for me 👍

Jon, you definitely had the best single item with the multi tool but the wallet was shocking bad and I simply don’t believe you’d carry it - you bigged it up simply to stick it to Jamie. Jamie will win this challenge because he does a better job of meeting the criteria. Hilarious, diverting, I love seeing Jon being so competitive and ungracious and watching Jamie be aggrieved and exasperated. More challenges please chaps! Yours in good cheer, Long time follower, AP

I've been carrying a Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 650 Lumen flashlight in my shirt pocket since 2018. It accepts a 14500 3.7 volt EBL rechargeable battery to provide the full power output, or any double A in a pinch, for half the lumen output. It has never failed me. It was about $25 when I bought it, and it has been my practical companion light, ever since. Instead of carrying both my Leatherman Squirt and Leatherman Micra, for the pliers and the scissors, respectively, I recently bought the NexTool Mini Flagship ($30) which seems to work reasonably well. It's double sided file is larger & better than those of the other tools, and includes a well-formed slot-screwdriver, as is the Phillips head. It's can opener/bottle opener could benefit from being a bit sharper, but it's main blade gives a nice long cutting edge, for the size of the tool. The scissors, as in most multitools do lack the quality of the Swiss Army Knife, in being poor at cutting paracord, but they're of a reasonable size, and the pliers are sufficiently similar to those of the squirt that I think it'll do the job. As far as a cheap, but fully functional minimalist RFID-BLOCKING wallet, Amazon has some for less than $10, with sufficient storage space for 8 credit card-sized items & with those cards, it's on 0.4" thick; and some cash, but no coins. And with the shackle on one end, you can add a useful lanyard or chain (I made a twisted paracord lanyard the looks like a DNA double helix). True, these cheap leather wallets only last a year or so, but at that price point, it's virtually a steal. Practical doesn't have to be the highest quality, most expensive Brand Name thing. I'm practical. True, most days I'm walking around with a Leatherman Wave+ in my pocket...just in case...and the Bic Lighter, mini first aid kit, magnifying lenses, a couple other knives (RULE 9: ALWAYS CARRY A KNIFE), keys, Thrunite Ti2 keychain flashlight, 3" Bayite Ferrocerium Rod, whistle, Gerber Dime, (RULE 8: ALWAYS CARRY A BACKUP!), Slip-'N-Snip folding scissors, Victorinox Nail Clippers, a double-wide SOL space blanket, hand sanitizer, Wet-Wipes, Puffs (or Kleenex Tissues) (so if someone asks me to do a "Pocket Dump, it's gonna take a half hour...11 minutes to dump it, and 19 minutes to put it all back!), but I'm a prepper, so I like to (RULE 7: BE PREPARED)...because bein' post-pared, ain'ta gonna do you no good, no how! [NOTE: The three RULES, above, refer to the 12 RULES of BASIC SURVIVAL PHILOSOPHY, from the book I'm currently writing, NOTES ON SURVIVAL. Inquire for details.

Sorry Jon, but you have got to admit Jaime made some really good choices (I think he secretly watches your uploads for his inspiration ! 😂) one thing I would have had to declare a draw was the choice of torches/flashlights, I must admit I will looking out for BOTH of them ! Thank you gentlemen, very interesting and also very amusing. You both really should do more of these types of uploads. 🤗❤️❤️🙏🤘

I’m voting Jamie but guys to be honest I’m going to amalgamate some elements of each into my EDC so think you for another really great set of ideas

I would take Jon’s torch with Jamie’s other choices. Cracking video guys. First that I have seen of your challenges.

It was really hard to pick Jamie, but it was Jamie. The sling bag sealed the deal. Now being in the U.S. (so sorry for you in the UK), I do prefer the Leatherman, but there is no arguing that Jamie's choices fit so nicely in the Viperade... And then in the sling bag! Both flashlights are interesting, but I prefer the traditional look of Jamie's, even while Jon's is definitely "cuter" and more compact. For wallets, the Rite in the Rain is only good for carrying the notebooks and pen, not much else.

Jamie’s but I’d upgrade the multi tool and use the budget. Do like Jon’s torch ! Good work fellas 👍
