Among your followers, i have maybe the weirdest musical taste. Throughout my life, I’ve searched for sounds that could truly express what I feel inside. In my earlier years, I found that intensity in metal, especially in bands like "Opeth" - Tracks like "To bid you farewell" can change your musical direction forever. Their music reflected my inner world at the time: discovering how evil human beings are, sorrow, rage, and a constant drive for evolution. It was raw, emotional, and perfectly matched the chaos I needed to release. As time passed, I began to shift. The emotional storms started to settle, and I found myself craving something different, something that resonated with my quieter, more reflective side. That’s when trip-hop and downtempo came into my life. The mystery, elegance, and subtle complexity of those sounds felt closer to who I was becoming. Artists influenced by the ’90s aesthetic and experimental electronic textures gave me a sense of balance; still emotional, but more grounded, more human. In a way, moving from metal to trip-hop was like growing up emotionally. Metal was the voice of my rebellion and pain; trip-hop became the sound of acceptance, self-awareness and letting go. It’s less about rage now, and more about realism embracing what is, rather than fighting it.
