EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!! For those who have been wondering what the big project I’ve been working on was, it’s this film/documentary! This video is NOT about elevators. It’s about a very special place...a place that I spent my childhood and a place that I hold very close to me. As you know, Macy’s in downtown Sacramento is closing, and I felt obligated to do something to honor the store’s memory. This store has played such an important role in the development of downtown Sacramento and it’s such an iconic building that has had to adapt to the continuously-changing landscape surrounding it. I have worked at this store for nearly 6 years, and I filmed this video based on my personal experiences. I have been working on this project since August of 2024 and once it’s complete, it will go live on this channel in early to mid April. The video will be a little over 2 hours long and contain history of the store, colleague experiences, and a full tour of the entire building…back of house and almost every secret room included.
