My favorite design in the entire movie is actually Bruno.) I just love how his design can be seen as scary or friendly depending on the point in the story progression and our point of view. About the grandkids... I don't really know, they all are pretty cool. But I think it's Isabella, cause we can see how her personality progresses through her arc in her dress design. And I really like this kind of stuff. Edit: Mirabel is cool as well, I would actually choose her, if I didn't like changing over time designs that much.)

My fav is Dolores but if we're talking strictly about character design. Then I think Isabella is the most effective + I think it's really smart how they made her look so much like the younger version of the grandmother, hinting to why she was grandma's favorite (because she saw the woman she could never be)

Luisa. Because OMG I'm loving the fact that the character designers were able to give her a muscular build and still make her feminine. IT'S AMAZING.

For me, I love all of the characters. But as far as favorite, it's a tie between Mirabel and Luisa. Both of them have awesome designs! Cute, strong, empowering! With Luisa, I relate to her struggles. I'm not a middle child, but I am the 'In your prime' member of my immediate family, so a lot of the physically taxing work is expected of me with the idea of 'you're young, you'll bounce back, it's not too much' thrown on top. And with Mirabel, I love her because she's a positive, outgoing character done right. She wants to be there and help and loves her family, but still has her bad days and limits. She's infectiously upbeat without feeling robotic.
