He was my first and favorite guitar hero since I was about seven years old and he remained in that number one status and will always remain in that number one status. There are many guitar players that I admire, but none of them had the impact on me that Ace Frehley did. RIP Aceβ€

Fractured Mirror at 8 or 9 years old was the tune from the Ace Frehley album that turned me instantly to music. RIP.

Hi Richard, this really hits hard for so many. Ace probably influenced as many or maybe even more players to pick up the guitar as Chuck Berry , Jimi and Eddie. A dear family friend was the luthier Steve Carr who built a lot of guitars for KISS and particularly Ace. The mini Explorer and UFO light show guitar. Steve loved Ace and shared some wonderful stories. Let's honor Ace by playing our guitars all night. Thanks Richard.

Man how many millions of us did he inspire to play? I remember watching their concert on TV thinking he really was from outer space. I used my momβs yardstick to play air guitar and eventually got a real guitar. Thank you for everything, Ace. Weβll see you in outer space.

Grew up a bit of a kiss fan but became an even bigger one as teen in the 90s when I started playing guitar. I must have been Ace for Halloween like a dozen times, he was always my favorite member. It's sad day for rock 'n roll. Another guitar hero lost. RIP Space Ace.

Ace was my 1st guitarr hero when I was 4 in the 70's. In 1976 they were practicing for their world tour at Stewart Airport, a civilian & Military Base at the time. They practiced in a hanger by the main road, 17K. My sisters took me there and we listened to their whole set on the side of the road next to the big fence. The hanger was a few hundred feet away. I got to sing Rock Soldiers w/ Ace at a small club in the 90's in my home town. Great memories, R.I.P Ace!

Well, another kick in the cojones. Another musician/guitarist Legend gone. I saw KISS live on the Dynasty tour in Houston, Texas. Aceβs solo album was the only one out of the four that I bought in 1978. He was the first guitarist to get me interested in playing the guitar. R.I.P. Ace Frehley. Thank you for your contribution to the Rock world. πΈππ»

this is making me so sad, Ace was one of my favorite guitarists. I have issues with blood clots and to hear he passed from a brain bleed is so sickening. He is playing now with a cool bunch of folks now. RIP Ace.
