Spot on. Some creators fall in this trap that videos should always be bigger and more audacious, when in fact many of us just wanna watch people being passionate about their interests.

The carboot sale video reminds me when I went to one with a friend many moons ago. I'd bought a handful of boxed Amiga games, while he bagged a fully working Amiga 2000! Good times 😊

Loved it, super nostalgic, I remember binging the entire playlist as a teen, hoping that I would find a fraction of the "treasures" you had.

Between LGR's old goodwill videos and your car boot sale videos, you're just going to set an expectation for every retro tech YouTuber to have to go treasure hunting in some form as a side hustle 😆

I really find I'm liking more unscripted stuff from the Youtubers I watch. It makes them feel so much more real than scripted stuff. I like scripted stuff too, it's just always a nice change.

Love these kind of videos but wow seeing those classic sold out boxes in the charity shop made me feel very poorly 😂

As a retro fan and a fairly long time viewer I’ve missed this aspect of the channel massively. It’s great getting the barcade going and retrospectives on particular topics but I really enjoy seeing that there are potentially still places out there for the honest game hunter to claim a win.

That has been a fun ride, and frankly it makes me happy that thrifting for games can be rare, sure, but also still a thing. Excpet in many charity shops.

Was a great video, saw an awful lot that i'd forgotten about... We had the mini metro scalectrix and painted one red like our dads mini metro 🤣

Love the thrift vids! The hunt is as much fun as the prize! Any chance you could say what camera glasses you use? The quality was great and they don't look clunky.

Nostalgia Nerd
Thanks so much for watching the latest thrifts video! ☺
It’s easy to forget sometimes that these kinds of videos; the simpler, rummage-and-reminisce type, are what many of you enjoyed most in the early days of this channel.
Seeing how much love this one’s had really reminded me of that.
I’ll definitely be making more of these, and similar more personable videos alongside the other 'heavier' stuff I’ve got planned.
Thanks again for all the support — it honestly means a lot and keeps me going!
