Sponsors shouldn't be micromanaging content creators, period. It should be enough to get their name out there to an audience that might be interested in whatever they're selling.

Thanks for keeping the content first and not the money. Your viewers appreciate you!

Sad, but I'll continue to support on patron for some of the most informative aviation videos out there. It's not just the history, which is great, but the detailed explanations as to why things work that way,, that make your work great! Things I've learned on you videos have helped me understand other aviation channels even better. What do we have to do to get another airliner video? Maybe a collaboration with Mike Brady, if time permits, he was trying out an airline focused channel for a hot minute! Either way, keep up the good work Greg!

The quality of the videos are so much better without the ads. Like it’s not even a close comparison.

Unfortunately it's the "sponsors" that have made the entire YouTube platform garbage.

Sorry you couldn't reach a meeting of the minds with your sponsor. Their loss, but you do deserve to make a living from your work too.

Don’t worry about ads, if you want to include ads in your videos and maybe do some short form unskippable ads in the middle of the videos that would be fine. Either that or shorter videos.

What the YouTube Algorithm doesn’t understand is that your channel is building its audience… I had no idea I would be so very interested in Aviation Turbos or Supercharging,….or the Brisbane Tank .. The real test is the number of times folks rewatch an episode.. “ I don’t understand why the algorithm doesn’t get that aspect.. Cheers and Thanks very much ..

Darn it that's a shame for you. Most certainly you are a premier source in your field on YouTube.

Is there a short video in the story of how the sponsorship went sour?

Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles
The sponsor for the D8 video has been axed. The video will go up within a couple hours.
