The belt is light and effective and has some range. The frozen turkey is gonna be a lot slower to swing and you're gonna have to get closer. Plus after like 5 hits its falling apart probably.

The belt is literally jus a rope dart that isn't a rope dart. The buckle can cut you with enough force and you can use the actual belt itself as a grappling tool
