Alyssa Beltempo

Ciao everyone! After returning to Canada a few days ago, I realized I needed some more time to move back in and set myself up properly. There won't be a video today but I will absolutely be back next Sunday. I didn't want to post a video just for the sake of it (eff the algorithm) and scrape from the bottom of the barrel. I'd rather set myself up properly here so that I can create good content for you for the rest of the year. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience. I'm finally feeling recharged and excited to get back into it. Now your turn: tell me what you'd like to see this summer and fall on the channel in the comments below! 👇❤️

I struggle with what outer layers look best with summer outfits. I also love when you do the re-creating a Pinterest outfit. Those are fun.🎉

Would you consider hot hot weather outfits? Like shorts and tank top, it’s too humid to care weather (but I want styled, not wilty or sweaty Betty) Ty. Rest up

I'd love a video on brands that sell classic Italian style clothing in Canada (and around the world). I love the style, but struggle to find the classic shapes when looking for skirts and dresses.

Take your time, it is no small thing changing countries! I would love to see something about the challenge of being stylish when you live somewhere that is not always stylish! I suspect moving back from Italy to Ottawa you will be very good at this!

Hi Alyssa, please also talk about the difference in style between women living in big cities and the ones who live in small towns or even villages. Please show us or explain us how women dress in Puglia in smaller places. Now that you are back in Canada do you dress differently? Thank you for all the great videos. They are very inspiring and we also learn a lot and they help us to shop less. Another interesting topic for a video would be: when you start from zero to build a new wardrobe, what are the principles to keep in mind? For instance do you limit the number of neutral colours and the number of accent colours? For me it was very helpful to get to know the difference between breadth and depth which you have explained in a recent video. Many thanks and a big hug from Germany

Welcome home! A few thoughts: 1. What items did you miss while travelling? 2. What items are you most excited to wear- either now that you’ve retuned from travel or, now that you’re home or your Canadian closet? 3. How has your style changed now that you’re back home? What influences you now when getting you dressed? 4. Life update:) What’s on the horizon?!!

Take care of yourself and set up your space to be productive and find comfort and inspiration. Love your videos! I appreciate the idea of slow living and try to do that myself, but it’s so wonderful to see others that champion it. I also love that you thrift for content and sometimes buy it, but mostly shop your closet. We all need to do that. Your style is amazing!

I would love a full wardrobe tour! Particularly how you have things organized.

Welcome home! Hope you and Apollo are doing well. I would like to see a special for those of us who do not have much of a waist and can not pull off high-waist or belts or tucks. Waist for the waist -less❤.

I love your channel. I would love to learn how to properly dress my new body. I am now in menopause and my body has changed. I feel awkward, like I have a whole new person to style and dress. I don't remember feeling like this since I was a teenager. My style is consistent. I tend to gravitate towards preppy and classic pieces, but I feel like I am in a rut. Nothing fits the way it used to. 😢

I have two seemingly opposing themes running in my closet in terms of style. I have a lot of classic, preppy items, which I love. But I am Latina so I also have a lot of bold statement items. I usually style them separately, wearing one or the other. I would love to see a video on how to marry my seemingly opposing styles. Looking forward to the next video! ❤

Must be nice to be back home and have all your "stuff" around you. Having packed my bags and lived with my daughter and grandchildren over lockdown I know what it's like to be without your fav things. But we manage and those were weird and wonderful times. Please can you give us more mature ladies some good tips for staying on trend, not looking too fuddy buddy but also not looking like mutton dressed as lamb ❤

Missed you! Love your personality and style and get so excited when a new video comes out. I’ve watched you for years. Thank you for putting such thought, care, and vulnerability into your video work. I’m 73 and high waisted (ugh, it’s what I hate most) and very modest, so I make adjustments to outfits that inspire me, but I have certainly gotten a better eye for figuring how to dress, and you have built my confidence, I no longer want to hide behind a rock so I won’t be seen.

I would love to know if your fashion taste has altered as a result of your extended time living in Italy, Alyssa? I find I'm very influenced by my environment with fashion. I've travelled a lot and lived in various city and rural settings over the years. Where I live now, though a city, it's very laid back and very hot most of the year. When I actually prefer cooler weather (not snow). I really struggle to dress to suit my current environment. I'm really interested in hearing your perspective of how environment influences style. Take your time to settle back in, Apollo, too. I'm certainly happy to wait. Your content is, in my opinion, the best on YT ❤

Hello! I am new here and would love some information on how to shop second hand. What are your strategies? Also, tips on how to spot a good store. I live in Colorado have only seen a lot of unsavory stores. Also, I am a teacher but don’t want to always look like a teacher. I do need to be modest at work, though. Thank you! I love your channel and your style!
