While it’s important to recognize the very real and dark origins of this holiday, it is also true that we can celebrate by honoring the blessings in our lives.
I enjoy Thanksgiving because it is one of the few widely celebrating holidays in the USA that isn’t overly commercialized. We don’t have to buy presents or fireworks, we can choose just to share a meal with people we love, often prepared with care by hand.
And I am thankful for you, this amazing and supportive cross stitch community.
