If I were to make more 'Complete' style videos, what do you feel is the ideal format?
Currently looking at 'Complete' videos for Genki I, Genki II, JLPT N2, Keigo etc.

@BearlyReading

N5やN4を超えた幅広いコンテンツがあると素晴らしいですね!中級レベルを越えるための良い教材を見つけるのは本当に難しいです。

As long as it’s N4/3 and up. There’s enough N5 stuff out for any beginner to get started n it’s honestly easy af. But closer to N3 n up is the real Japanese that ppl need to understand if they’re serious about learning

@GameGengo

Just for confirmation V.O = Voice over only (I ran out of space to type it haha)

Long time listener, first time caller. Love the show and have found it very helpful. My request for N2 level and above would be either the omission of English translation from example sentences or at least a delay before it appears. Instead of taking the time to understand the Japanese and Japanese, I find my eyes slipping to the English. I’ve even sometimes taped cardboard to my screen to block out the English. Like I said though, love your work. I’m currently playing through ニノ国 and having a great time doing so. Keep up the good work!

@KnowledgeVid

N2 complete series just like ur n3 complete series. But i think it's gonna tire you out. I can see all the effort and work put into it. Thank you sir

@luchoaventuras7820

I love that you add multiple examples in the newer videos, but if an example it's really difficult to find, it's ok to just add some random examples.

@GrimSnowflake

Really looking forward to when the Complete Keigo video. Also, thanks a bunch, Matt, for everything you do for us. You've been a huge help and a lot of fun too ^^

I feel like the N4-N3 format seems more adequate to teach the more advanced stuff but it feels like it would be more tiring to you.

@ruslankireev6421

I like your high-level immersion content where you just play and explain only the hard or not-so-obvious stuff, without much editing.

I find it hard to pay attention without a face teaching me. Thanks for all your hard work Matt 🙏🏼 In part, I owe you for my successful N3 exam this December. I’m still waiting for the results but I felt really good and prepared mostly because of your video

@TalsonHacks

I recommend that you upload every grammar or few grammars in one video, then after you finish all the grammar points you compile them into one huge of a video. Saves time and also makes it easier for us to get grammar videos here and there every now and then.

@EverWinter_Carel

May I suggest also expanding on other series of books like Quartet / Tobira for the N3-ish content?

@reichan2024

The more examples the better imo! Facecam or not is fine

@iamthe5616

I'm new here, I just subscribed earlier this week, so I dont really know what any of those mean. But I like what you are currently doing. I just finished the 3rd level Japanese course at my university, and i'm looking for more listening and reading practice and to get more exposure to vocab and real world sentinces with complex grammer. So what you have been doing, at least with the vocab series, is perfect.

@appleslab-piano8071

I like multiple (game) examples to get as many different contexts.

@dogecl

if no camera makes it possible to save some effort and put that focus elsewhere, I'm in for it
