We got some rough years coming up as we lose our heros, icons and friends. We're all here for such a short time, so rock and roll all night and party everyday. Goodbye Ace.

Losing our heroes is one of the worst parts of getting older. When a family member or close friend passes, you tend to see it coming. We usually know about their health issues and can mentally prepare for it. We usually aren't close to the artists that inspire us and when they pass, it's a shock we didn't expect. R.I.P. Ace. A true rock n roll legend.

My condolences to all his friwnds and family. I am very sorry for the loss of your friend. He was part of a group who left a lasting impression on rock music and he will always be remembered. Many a home room discussion focused on Kiss from two of the members of Suffocation. I was the Hip Hop guy in the room. R.I.P. in peace.

Just saw him live recently. Twice, actually. I was able to get backstage and meet him as we had a mutual friend. It was really, really fantastic. He was beyond cool and indulged my fan boy questions. Having come up as a youngster, learning his leads. I think his influence is actually quite underrated, popular as he was. RIP Ace.

Ace and Jimmy Page were my inspirations for picking up a guitar in the late 80's and then in 1991 I purchased a new '91 Gibson Les Paul Standard Honey burst guitar because of my guitar heroes. I still have the guitar to this day and will never part with it until death. RIP Ace! You were definitely a legend and an inspiration!

Always a criminally underrated guitar player. Best musician in the band hands down. RIP Spaceman 🚀

Peter Criss and Ace Frehely are who got me in to rock and wanting to play an instrument in 1979 at nine years old. Started with the drums thanks to Peter and then guitar thanks to Ace (and Angus…mandatory when you grow up Aussie 😊)

Im gonna blast his solo album from 1978 tommarow. My favorite lead guitarist from Kiss. He gave them that great punch they needed in their formative years. RIP...❤

Produce Like A Pro
Ace Frehley, RIP my friend. Devastated. We made several albums together and he was always so generous, giving me production credits, inviting me to play guitar alongside him and Slash, sing backing vocals, mix and engineer. Beyond the music, he was incredibly kind to me and my family, often visiting us and making my kids laugh. When I first moved to the US, every musician I met had been influenced by KISS. Ace’s playing, attitude and spirit were a huge part of why so many of us picked up a guitar in the first place. It was a true privilege to know and work with him and I’m so heartbroken that we’ve lost him. Rest in peace my friend, we love you Ace
