RennsReviews

I need a new thumbnail artist for my channel!

Specifically someone who understands/is a fan of the channel, has the confidence to take creative liberties, and is decent at photoshop.

You will of course be paid!

If you are up for this, or know someone else who might be, send me a DM on Discord or Twitter/X with some of your work!

Hey man. I usually don't comment on social media posts or videos. But you are one of the few rare YouTubers who have really good content. The way you talk, edit videos and the way you have your script is genuinely great. Been following you for a while and I do appreciate It. I love listening to your videos while I'm at work or trying to sleep. I do appreciate the work you put in your videos and it's one of the best commentary I've seen in a long time! ☺️

Glad to see this, because while your thumbnails aren’t bad, I don’t think they represent you and your content… love the work as always btw!

The best type of thumbnails that suit your channel and comedy is the dead rising 4 review thumbnail you had.

Hey! came here from your Dragon Age review! Huge respect for at least giving the hardest difficulty a shot and actually give yourself credibility for criticizing the difficulty, like you and SkillUp did. More youtubers should do this instead of just criticizing the difficulty without changing it up at all. I also saw the end of that video is that you want to experiement on both good and bad game reviews so I was thinking.... Even though this isnt exactly a popular game to praise. but it has its fans and niche and you'll get lots of newcomers to your channel when you check this game out. the one I suggest is Dynasty Warriors Origins! its the latest in the series although dont be afraid of it being a part of the series as the game reimagines the setting and story in every release. as you were tired of the hack and slash rpg gaming from Dragon Age what about something that is Hack and Slash in a 1 vs 1000 setting? You should really check it out. the amounts of enemies and allies you can see on screen can compete with the likes of Space Marine 2, WWZ, or Vermintide 2 and the number of enemies THEY have on THEIR screen. The aforementioned game is a fresh take on the Dynasty Warriors series as a whole! they changed up alot of things and people LOVED IT! I HIGHLY SUGGEST this one if you want to take a dive into good games. You'll briing in lots of Dynasty Warrior fans to your channel too in the process!

I think you should perhaps go big and hire an artist to design a specific cohesive look for your channel, get a new banner, profile pic, thumbnails etc. Maybe have the artist design a anime/cartoon/mascot/whatever version of you that you can use in thumbnails or wherever. People will start recognizing your videos just from the thumbnails alone, your channel will become more approachable and reach a higher level so to speak. Your videos are really high quality stuff, like among the best that show up in my feed, and I think your channel's visuals should reflect that too. As for where to find the artist, I'd say Artstation is the place to go currently. You can discover brilliant artists just by browsing the site for a bit, I'm sure you'll find a suitable person there. This is coming from someone who works as a concept artist/illustrator and gets job offers via that site. Behance could be an option too, but I haven't used it myself.

You should resurrect Thomas Silverstein and commission his prison art for cigarettes.

Hey ActMan, just hire the same person RennsReview working with, I heard their job is pretty good. Finally your thumbnails will stop looking like you are a middle aged divorced dad in a 3rd life crisis

Renn is it okay if i make a custom thumbnail for any video you've already uploaded as a frame of reference ? So you atleast know if the thumbnail vibes with your videos

@TurtleSauceGaming

I would frankly love the honor of trying to make a thumbnail for you, but realistically, I just don't think I have the creative juices to come up with ones as good as what you got.
