A final tribute to Icelandair’s Hekla Aurora- one of the most iconic liveries in the world that was retired just a few days ago… or so we thought… look at the last slide, it’s still flying seemingly passenger routes after its “final passenger flight” over 2 days ago in Reykjavik lol. Regardless, I’m very glad I went to Iceland when I did, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have been able to ever catch this beauty! So long to TF-FIU (for however long Icelandair decides to keep flying it, I guess, because the special Iceland flyover on October 12th which was advertised as the “final flight” for $200 was clearly NOT the last flight lol)
