Serpentine comes as Kiss Nuka's debut EP produced entirely on headphones in Goa, without the comfort of her studio and her gear. Surrounded by the tropical monsoon of the land, with support from amazing musicians and friends, Kiss Nuka went with the flow, tuning into nature, and turned what was meant to be a quick work trip into a month and a half of creative writing and production. She produces all the types of music she loves, never wanting to limit herself to a genre. With this release she pays homage to the ravers she has danced with over the years, and channels the energy of the dance floor, one of the friendliest places on earth. The serpent, a creature closest to the Earth, is symbolic of Kiss Nuka's journey and evolution, and with this EP she sheds her skin and breaks free as an artist, a human being, and a voice without boundaries. A piece of art is the sum of all its participants and the environment it is created in. This is Serpentine. Produced amidst love, warmth, and Goa’s monsoon mold. The EP Artwork for Serpentine, featuring the stunning Bamboo Pit Viper shot in its natural habitat in the wild, is by wildlife photographer and filmmaker Mayuresh Hendre. The titling has been created by Giorgos Kazakis, the artist who tattooed Kiss Nuka.
