Does anyone else have a lot of trouble trying to write a script? Not knowing what to say nor how to say it, procrastination, irl obligations, and getting easily distracted by something that I forget about what I'm supposed to type.


I struggle quite a lot just writing a normal script; so, you can imagine how much of a nightmare writing a political script gets! Heck, my entire “1st Paragraph” big political post originally started a little before 6/2/25 and it wasn't completed until 7/8/25.

The side effect of this struggle is that by the time I want to talk about current political events, the window of opportunity would have long passed. Maybe it's for the best

Yup, you read that right. Those last two sentences were supposed to say more but it just abruptly ends there! Better get used to it now while you still can. Funny enough, I typed those paragraphs all the way back on 9/2/25 8:48 AM EST!

Below this paragraph was my original post for 9/10, not long after I heard the news of Mr. Kirk's assassination. I'm worried about everything, lads and lasses. I wish I could just bury my head in the sand but I can't afford to do it everyday. But sticking my head out just makes me return to the bubble and become a more miserable version of myself. What can anyone do at this moment? All the incomplete thoughts from here on out will be marked with an “[Incomplete],” it's the most honest and genuine favor I could do.

Alright it has been a few hours and I've nearly entirely calmed down. Today's assassination of Mr. Kirk [Incomplete] It's never going to end until one side or the other completely and utterly annihilates the other.


Ignoring politics is a luxury considering the current climate, but getting involved in politics, especially online, is just… What the Hell are we supposed to do?!
It's a catch 22: Become willfully ignorant of reality and only participate when it comes down to material possessions (whether you can afford something you need within a reasonable price or if your paycheck is high enough to last the week), but at least there's a much higher chance of actually enjoying yourself, life in general, and even other people in your community.
Or dive headfirst into the world of politics and become the most miserable type of "person" you can ever become. You try to stay sane but become jaded from the cycle. Or the worst fate: becoming a tribalistic drone. [Incomplete, surprisingly]


I genuinely don't think that anyone who is currently or has ever participated a lot in American culture war and politics are actually capable of showing empathy. I don't mean "empathy" where you only try to share the feelings of other people who are a) already and only on your side, b) strangers you want to give the benefit of the doubt, [Incomplete]


Nearly all of these paragraphs were copy pasted from the mangled mess that is my Youtube Scripts document [Incomplete].




Those were all the copypasted thoughts. Has anyone else been feeling rather paranoid lately? Am I acting like an enlightened centrist because I fear blindly trusting either the Democratic or Republican parties, because I’m not choosing the lesser of two evils, or because I’m framing the mistrust like this? Was that a conscious or unconscious choice? Ah what the Hell, I’m rambling again!




It’s all horrible in the end. Aside from Mr. Kirk, the Minnesota lawmakers and the children from that Catholic school… It’s going to be this endless cycle of “shooting, mourning for normal people, culture war drones will either celebrate the attacker and whoever the victims are OR use the attacker and victims to make propaganda against the entire other side (largely depends on type of attacker/victim), something-something gun control, something-something gun rights, REPEAT until someone is bound to be the last one standing. Right?




Internet politics WILL ruin your mind and attitude just from participating in it, maybe even permanently! DO NOT end up like me! I’m not someone to idolize because I participated in that shit too much for my own good. But unfortunately the recent news cycles keep trying to drag me back in. You gotta protect your sanity out there!

This post’s many drafts were started too damn long ago. No more. [This is a political post you can ignore] (1st Paragraph)

Good evening, Lads and Lasses.

The infamous "1st paragraph" has been a long time coming. I promised that I would be genuine. As my last video's description (TF2 Casual match turned friendly! PT2) puts it, "No rage baiting, no low-hanging cherry picking, and especially no excessive over-validation for any drone-type audience!"

So here it finally is: Culture war politics has driven me insane now that I'm actually looking at it through the lens of a relatively normal person; and, while some views have changed (drastically or barely) ever since I'm actually trying to peer outside the bubble, unfortunately my cognitive dissonance has been quite the headache-inducing bitch! Seriously, there were times where it got so bad, it would put 1984's doublethink to shame! In the end, I've mostly accepted a "it is what it is" mentality to American politics and that I was a full on culture war drone back when I didn't use my brain. Not a person or a human being, just a useful idiot drone.

I sincerely apologize if an entire month of waiting led to this seemingly nothingburger of a statement but it's the closest to genuine truth that I'm feeling. A lot of the older drafts were too grandiose to take seriously (like a monologue or speech from fictional media) or too definitive to account for how volatile my mind could get; and, most attempts to course-correct that last point ironically end up leading to the other extreme where I came off as a grifter that switches sides when it was convenient. I understand that the intentional uncertainty in these last two paragraphs may be off putting to y’all so here’s how I’ll say it in the next sentence. I WILL NOT convert my channel into a political drama/ragebait channel and I WILL NOT seek any way to profit off of ANY political posts.

I'm still grateful and relieved that I finally got this off my chest even if it's screaming out into an internet void. It ain't healthy at all to excessively bottle up, that's a lesson that took a while for me to learn. So with this new sentiment I have, how will future political posts be handled?

Rather than becoming a twitter or reddit user that posts every political thought that comes to mind in the most provocative, clap-back, hot take formula that is really only there to validate their side and/or piss off the other side, from here on out I'm going to make my political posts more sporadic, keep the main subject under the "read more" button as well as signaling the post as political so that no one is forced to read it if they don't want to, and lastly I'll try to write the subject matter in a way that's actually trying to be inquisitive rather than provocative.

There is however a problem that will inevitably come up for anyone when they're trying to make political posts that don't look like reworded copies you see on Twitter and Reddit, coming off or becoming an enlightened centrist. Man, that is a whole other can of worms/rabbit hole that deserves its own dedicated post since I have quite a bit to talk about for that! As for how this applies for me…

At least I have the self awareness to say that I'm not any better nor any less insane as those drones despite the fact I have mostly broken out of the spell. So while any future political posts I make will absolutely be less provocative than the average posts made by drones on Twitter and Reddit, for your own sanity please mentally prepare yourselves for any “enlightened centrism”-tier takes I will inevitably end up saying.

In the end, I'm just some guy shouting into the void from his little corner of the internet. I am NOT a Matrix escapee who knows and speaks the gospel truth about America's political problems, ALWAYS take my words (especially if it's political) with a grain of salt! But most importantly, use your brain to form your own opinions about a side or issue without becoming a drone (basically a zealot) in the process. Listen to perspectives you agree and disagree with, but don't take anyone's words as the gospel truth! Watch out for channels that consistently tries to maintain an audience of a particular ideologue because that's who will always come back for validation (mainly just dissing on who they disagree with).

Good early morning Lads and Lasses!
Sorry for the lack of activity in the past few weeks or so, I'm needed to prepare for something big that's coming up later this weekend.

So about the "1st paragraph," I've finally settled upon a draft a couple days ago that I think truly puts everything to some form of rest. I WILL have it uploaded THIS WEEKEND at the latest because I made a promise to y'all that I would post it when I can; and, I intend to deliver on that promise!

Subtitles for my old videos are still on the menu and I'll get to it when I'm available. I realized that for some of my videos without commentary, I can't easily justify filling it with captions if said video can easily communicate what's going on through visuals alone (TF2 Casual match turned friendly! PT2). So some videos without commentary may not get captions at all, just an FYI for anyone reading.

Lastly, I want to talk about the #StopKillingGames movement. Truth be told, I subscribed to Ross Scott's Accursed Farms channel long before the movement officially started; I subscribed mainly to catch Freeman's Mind videos when they were being uploaded. So I saw the movement being founded as well as the video about the European Citizens' initiative when it was uploaded; but, I'll admit that I never followed the movement closely other than when the PirateSoftware drama happened. But ever since Ross uploaded his last major update video on the state of the StopKillingGames movement as well as the then abysmally low signatures for the initiative, I've been following the movement and its momentum more closely. And I'll say, I'm grateful and proud of what has been accomplished since then! As of when I'm typing this post, the UK petition crossed the 100k signatures needed for the UK parliament to actually debate the topic and the initiative has 912,516 signatures! We still need more signatures for both the initiative and the UK petition mainly so that invalid signatures that are thrown out will not cause a "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory" moment. I'm typing this post on my phone, not my computer, so I'll have to edit in the links for the movement later since I'm reserving the copy paste to make sure this massive text doesn't get wiped.

I did have more to talk about but I'll save it for after the "1st paragraph" gets uploaded first.

Good afternoon Lads and Lasses!
I originally had a much longer post in the works since yesterday, but I've decided that it's best to split it apart into two posts. The paragraph below this one was originally meant to be the 2nd paragraph and serve as the "good news" or mood lightner in contrast with the 1st paragraph. The time will come when I eventually have to post the 1st paragraph, it touches upon a slightly personal issue that I feel is too unhealthy to bottle up; but, it's nothing too personal to the point where it's considered oversharing or TMI if it comes out. If anything, you can tell what I'm talking about just by interacting with my channel for any amount of time. Now let's move on to the main subject below.

Here is something I believe y'all would enjoy! So I've done some and am currently planning on more Quality of Life changes for this channel! Most of the QoL changes will be re-enabling seeing likes and comments, fixing incorrect tags, and keeping a more consistent typing structure for all the text. The biggest QoL feature I'm planning on adding to the channel will be fully typed out, not auto-generated, closed captions/subtitles for all my videos! This change mainly applies to the videos where I talk a lot. But you may be wondering how the captions could apply to videos where I don't talk (mostly gameplay) or just the general quiet moments in videos where I do talk. This is the good part, I'm planning on using the quiet moments as footnotes/tangents, updates, behind-the-scenes, thoughts I have in the moment or in retrospect, and much more when I need it! Sidenote: I know I have at least one person who likes my posts but does anyone actually read what I wrote down? Type something related to apples if you are, please.
Lastly I'm thinking about maybe interacting in the comments just a bit more than usual but no guarantees. I'm interested to see where the future of this channel takes me!

Original Record Time: Somewhere around 3 PM EST 5/18/25
Hey lads and lasses! I'll finally put in that context I was talking about in the community post.
Context: So the 1st round of the match, I was put on RED Team to stop the payload cart from reaching its destination. It was absolutely BRUTAL for BLU Team; for four whole minutes they couldn't even push the cart through that little crevice let alone reach the 1st point! We were just spawn-camping them the whole time, I almost felt bad about it. But it wasn't a boring 1st round, a player named Spacecore_Jack joined our team early on and started playing old music through his mic. I didn't think too much about it at first (I thought it was just your usual micspammer) but realizing the old songs were actually legitimate and not micspam entertained me. Not just me, but a few other players caught on as well. Spacecore_Jack was at first silent, only playing his music, but after some compliments and questions he started to talk back-and-forth with us. After the 1st round ended and we all got switched to BLU Team, he talked way more casually in voice chat and even agreed to tell us what songs were being played like it was small-town radio station (I think he agreed to this after multiple players were asking about the songs played). It was during this 2nd round setup time where I said the line, "Keep playing those tracks, Spacecore_Jack!" and he loved it! It was around when the Setup time came to an end was when I got the idea to record the match for memories. I pressed ctrl and f11 before leaving spawn, and the rest is history!
Well that's assuming that this video only remains blocked and not outright muted! Since this description will be copy pasted to the community notes, please let me know in the comments of either this video or the post if the audio was muted. I'll try to find a way to either bring it back or find a work around to post the video unaltered.

Hey Lads and Lasses! The next video coming up may be something special! Unfortunately, I don't know enough about YouTube's copyright rules to get the full thing posted. The worst fate for this video would be the whole thing getting muted. I'd rather have it get blocked in certain countries so that y'all could use a VPN to bypass the block!

It was recorded about an hour ago as of when I'm typing this post. I unfortunately didn't record the 1st round of the match nor the very beginning of the 2nd round because I didn't think too much about it when it first started. I'll go into more detail about that in the description of that video and the community post when it inevitably gets blocked in certain countries.
Sucks that I didn't record possibly the best interaction during the 2nd round's setup time...

I almost forgot! It's that special day again and I'm not just talking about the "blaze it" jokes, Happy Easter everyone!

Some updates: Minecraft - unfortunately I've fallen out of it again but I genuinely forgot just how beautiful and breathtaking the world generation 1.18 onwards is! I've mostly caught up with the recent patch notes but I'm more of a visual guy, can't comprehend the full scale of the update just from text alone. I've also been thrown into a loop since it seems there's now big content drops in the sub-versions instead of just the main version. Like how the wolf armor and animal variations came in 1.21.X (X being the sub-versions) instead of like how the new world generation came in 1.18. At least from what I've heard, the Minecraft movie is fortunately "so bad it's good" territory instead of "just bad" territory.

Rain World: The Watcher - After getting both endings (that we know of so far. Videocult did say something about the Watcher itself's story arc being completed later before console release), I enjoyed the dlc overall. There were some things I like, there were other things I didn't like (those two points apply heavily to the regions), but I still enjoyed playing the dlc to its fullest. No arena unlocks currently but I have seen those strange branch things that an unlock would normally be at in some regions. Someone on the Rain World subreddit did allege that someone on the inside said that Akupura Games rushed out the dlc for the 8th anniversary (because if I have to guess, they still want Videocult to do a content drop for the 10th anniversary without falling into that 9th anniversary grey area of "it's too close to a big event to do but technically far enough to do it"). The rushing theory makes sense because have you seen the Loaches?! It was clearly neither balanced nor designed to be anywhere else outside of Desolate Tract, how does someone make an animal more ravenous and all-consuming than a DLL?! Speaking of Desolate Tract, very interesting lore implications because of its existence. The iterators are now clearly not the only megastructures to be built in this world. Lastly, The Watcher dlc is already way more replayable than Halo: Infinite!

I had more to say but it dives back into unsavory topics previously discussed so another time if I feel like it. Plus tired over irl activities to attend to. Have a great day Lads and Lasses!
