Mai Le Huyen's real name is Nguyen Thu Cuc (born in 1946 in Binh Long) and she is a famous Vietnamese-American singer who became popular before 1975 in South Vietnam. Mai Le Huyen and Hung Cuong were known as the "tsunami couple" because they together created phenomena that had never been seen before in the music scene, and received very passionate admiration from the audience. She was nicknamed "The Fire Doll" and "The Queen of Provocative Music" by music enthusiasts.
