Anywho have my headcanon for what happened after D3rLord3 signed off

After witnessing horrors beyond his comprehension D3rLord couldn’t close his eyes at all. Mainly due to the image of The King being stuck in his head and in addition the infinite knowledge would overflow his mind again.
So The King gave him an offer.
He would re-make his eyes so he would never suffer from the infinite knowledge again(and censor his face to prevent re-traumatizing him), but in exchange D3rLord3 would become his first “Knight” and obey his every wish.
With the additional conditions of D3rLord3 not being able to leave the world(kinda like a ghost haunting the world but he’s not exactly dead)and with the agreement The King would never lure anyone else to his palace, the only thing guiding them is their curiosity.
Before y’all go “Oh how generous The King is-!” He will if upset with D3rLord3 take off the censor bar and show his true face to re-traumatize him. When he does he has to re-make D3rLord3’s eyes again.
He’s mean like that.

Very important question because I’ve been pondering this for a good minute…

So let’s be a bit hypothetical for a moment alright?

We all know how Frozen dropped the hit “Let it go” and it became one of the most overplayed songs in history. It was a generational song that stuck with many children and adults, so then I ask the question…will the same happen to KPDH?
With what I’ve seen the hype for this movie/soundtrack hasn’t died down at all and the songs are stuck in everyone’s heads.
So then I wager this…
To my older audience(Gen Z and up) if this becomes the new “Let it go” and gets overplayed till there’s a live action remake(joke) will you get sick of it?

Vox and Alastor re-designs in the Hazbin style
I’m still trying to narrow down what I want Vox’s fit to look like because this is all the elements in his og design that I tried to squeeze into his…everything.

That’s one element all of Viv’s designs have, it’s too many topics for one character for example Alastor also has…

It something I definitely try to avoid with my designs because having more than 3 topics/ideas can overwhelm a design if your not careful (Drawing/animation designs not gacha designs I’ll sound like a hypocrite lol)
So imma do a brief talk on my re-designs so y’all can understand what I’m doing here.

So Alastors 1920’s-30’s radio host thing is one of the most iconic parts of his og design, along with the deer elements and silly little smile. So I made those the main aspects that I focused on in his design. It’s not 100% accurate to the outfits of the time, but I wanted him in a trench coat and the fluff to show his current status as an overlord.
Finally I ate all the red up because the idea of him being in black and white is very fun to me, and it adds to the mystery of his character. Monochrome characters are arguably very interesting because they don’t have a color that hints to their personality, background, or inner self, it keeps all the secrets hidden muhahahh

Next up our favorite CEO, his design is really hard to narrow down but I think I’ve landed on a base for it.
I wanted the TV, cult leader and CEO/tech man to been the focus of his design +little shark motifs because the gills are cute.
So I changed the red to a gold because it’s a better highlight color than the red imo. Also because I wanted each of the V’s to have VERY separate color palettes. I also got rid of his mouth because I thought it would be interesting if his “punishment” in hell is that he can’t use his true charismatic voice he had in life, he still has his voice, but it comes from speaks all around the V tower. However, the speaker I wanna place either on his chest or back houses his “true” voice. Fun fact when he’s really pissed his true voice can be heard screaming and it would crack his screen (it’s a pain to repair). His eyes are very expressive in the series and carry a lot of his mannerisms so I wanted that to be how we understand him. The little blades atop his head is to help with his expressions/emotions he can’t show without his mouth(they constantly change shape to enhance his mannerisms and overall body language.)

Now for a mini rewrite/canon divergence kinda thing
I use a lot of history for this so be warned this won’t be very pretty.
Arther = Alastor
Margaret = Mimzy
Vincent = Vox
So in my AU, Arther was born in the 1900’s and Vincent was born in the 1920’s-30’s.
Also Al is Asexual/questioning (not the ace part)
Vox is Bi(internalized Homophobia)

Alastor/Arther

Arther grew up in poverty with his mother, and his father was killed by a famous hate group (that I WONT be mentioning here) before he could tie his shoes. This left the two looking for scraps in such a hateful world. Margaret was a young woman who was friends with Arthers mother, and helped her when times were tough. She also was the one who taught Arther how to read and write- “Golly he’s got a nack for speaking- who knows maybe he could be a preacher or president in a better world” Margaret would always say that whenever he would practice reading out loud…She was the one who offered Arthers mother a job as a “dancer.” This help lead to Arther and his mother living better than before…not ideal but they could eat and sleep. Eventually when Arther was of age he enlisted in the military so his mother no longer had to work in such unfair conditions. Arther fought during the First World War for a year or so, and when he came back he wasn’t the same…something in him- no…Arther changed after fighting in the Great War. He was still the charming lad he was…but with a more…forced smile. Only people close to him really noticed such as Margaret, but Arther changed after the war, and no one could hear it behind his charm and sweet voice. His mother’s death mirrored her husbands, and when Arther returned from war he saw only the remains of his mother…Eventually he moved to New Orleans after his mother’s death…and pitched a radio show!? Why would someone be so- interested in a radio show!??! This was unheard of…a colored man running a show?? But he was eventually given a chance, and began his broadcast across the nation.
No one in the nation knew it was him, a colored man speaking to everyone as equals, they only heard his voice and his name, it was perfect…but all the building up trauma wasn’t going away…
He took to hunting to cope with some of these…demons. He found freedom in holding a gun and killing something after all the lives taken from him…and eventually…he found himself hunting…bigger game…Eventually he died while dragging a corpse across the road. A drunk couple hit him with their car, and blood stained the peaceful dirt…
When he arrived in hell…his smile and desire to hunt…only grew…

Vox/Vincent

Vincent grew up listening to Arthers radio show and wanted to be like him, know, beloved, famous...worshipped. He grew up in a well off family who lost their cash during the depression. Vincent tied to help his family make ends meet by bing a paper boy. They eventually got back on their feet about the middle of second war. Unfortunately his father was drafted, and died and left all of his estate to Vincent. After Vincent was out of Highschool, he got a job as a local news reporter when TV became the new thing. After reporting on a big even in his hometown he was given the chance to work on on of the biggest stories of the century(I’m not sure what yet) and went viral and became the face of the news for a few days. That wasn’t enough…he needed to chase that high again…so feel loved by everyone- not 15 minutes of fame, not sharing the spotlight- he wanted to have all eyes on him…he grew an cult following after his 15 minutes, and they adored and worshipped every step he took. He grew mad…doing anything- yes anything to feel the sensation of being a god again…when preaching his message to his followers…they where convinced Vincent’s Stardom made him a god…and hell he believed it…before Vincent and his cult could start their march to a new age of entertainment…a TV fell onto his head killing him…His followers were devastated, and that lead them to believe…If Vincent died so would they…Vincent arrived in hell confused why he was there, alone without his followers. He was…alone with no one else. He was lost…back at the start with nowhere to climb up, after learning about the extermination he was half tempted to just wait for the angels to take him- one way or another. While sitting on a blood stained bench on a hellish morning, with his second death set in motion…a familiar charming voice caught his ear.

Also fun fact about these two, when they eventually became friends they shared their “Alive names” and many personal stories of their lives. Alastor was shocked that he inspired and helped someone so young through their life, and Vox was super excited about meeting his idol.
Sad fact, Alastor never was close to many males in life or in death because they were the main root of the racism in his life, so he grew much closer to females. But Vincent was…really the first guy he let break his walls. He offered kindness rather than hate, and that was something totally alien to Alastor…
They can be interpreted as ex-lovers/situationship because of this, but I like leaving room for interpretation…
I’ll share one line of dialogue I’ve written for these goobers

A : “You know you really should be giving your name to people in hell…they might mistake you for someone who’s wronged them.”
V : “Well it’s hard to separate yourself from your name, it’s the only human part left in this hell isn’t it?”
A : “That you are right my friend, but why not enjoy the freedom of a new identifier? Like ‘La televisión!’”
V : “Ok now your just speaking islander-“
A : “Haha- any creative names from that box head of yours?”
V : “Why not…’Dr. TeeVee!’ Eeh?”
A : “We have enough mad doctors down here, and it sounds…Childish”
V : “Static? Shockwave? Dr. TeeVee?”
A : “Unfortunately you have little to no talent when it comes to naming things, thank goodness you never had children-“
V : “Guess I’m Vincent till my second death-“
A : “…When I arrived in hell I had a name I liked- but it didn’t feel anything like me. Since I was known for my voice I thought it fit- but it wasn’t for me…”
V : “…What was it-?”
A : “Vox…it’s Latin for ‘voice’ it might suit you my televised friend.”
V : “Vox…I like it…”

Anywho I’ve been having fun with the new season, Vox has always been a favorite of mine along with Zesty-al among the overlords. I had such a Velvet phase back in the old days and she still is one of my favorites to this day.

You know, I never thought I’d love and hate a character to the extent I love-hate Vox. He’s a controlling bastard who uses everyone he can to get what he wants. I hate him so much I wanna throw him in Tupperware and microwave him to death. That’s a bit graphic but he deserves it, /affectionate
Moving from that…
CAN WE PLEASE GET A LUCIFER SOLO SONG OMGGGGGG. This man has the best voice I swear- next to Lute. Idk man the songs haven’t been hitting the same for me this season, I don’t wanna listen to the entire soundtrack like I did last season. I’m praying the last two episodes have only PEAK, because omg the songs aint hitting the same-
LIAR IM A LAIR- HUSKS AND ANGELS SOLOS WHERE PEAK SORRY- and Nifty’s song was hilarious and so fun. The Vees are CARRYING this season with the humor and music also. Loved the first two songs they have the most, absolutely peak.
And I hate to admit it…Valentino made me laugh a few times this season. I still HATE him for his actions, the same way you’re supposed to hate Big Jack Horner in Puss in Boots, he just has some good lines this season. He’s not the funniest for sure but unfortunately…he’s up there- IM SORRY CHAT I HATE HIM JUST AS MUCH AS THE FANDOM DOES-
Also…EMILY AND CHARLIE HAVE BEEN PISSING ME OFF THIS ENTIRE SEASON OMG- I know they’re flawed but there’s no excuse for some of their behavior and decisions, it’s not horrible but they’re so ignorant about serious issues it’s making me go “STOP STOP YOUR MAKING IT WORST”. I need someone rational like Sera or Luci to talk some sense into them because omg-
