Over time, many teams notice Tosca performance dropping due to workspace size increase. Here are a few common reasons:

🔹 Use of Dokusnapper in scripts
🔹 Numerous duplicate modules
🔹 Excessive use of large IF conditions
🔹 Using the same module multiple times without setting cardinality
🔹 Forgetting to remove unwanted test sheets, sample cases, and modules

👉 One major fix is to clean up duplicate modules:
1️⃣ Select the required module
2️⃣ Go to Modules → Find Duplicate Modules
3️⃣ Identify duplicates in the list
4️⃣ Set the correct module as the target module
5️⃣ Click Merge Module (source module will be merged & deleted automatically)

Problem Statement
⚠️ You download a file with a random/unknown name.
❌ Not ideal for automation.
✅ You need it renamed for the next step in your automation flow.


#Solution
Step 1 - Use this PowerShell script to find the latest downloaded file and rename it:

$folderPath = "C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\New folder"
$latestFile = Get-ChildItem -Path $folderPath -File | Sort-Object CreationTime -Descending | Select-Object -First 1

$newName = "TestFile" + $latestFile.Extension
Rename-Item -Path $latestFile.FullName -NewName $newName

📝 Save it as Powershell2.ps1
