wow... 3 whole years. 3 years and 2 days ago, I uploaded my first video to this channel. It was a Tony Montana edit, edited on capcut, my first ever time touching an editing software. I never would've thought that it would've brought me to this point in my life with a wonderful community of people and fellow editors. To this day, this channel has been one of my greatest achievements in my life and I can't be any more thankful for every single one of you people that are kind enough to stick around and watch my edits or comment or like or share or subscribe. It means the world to me, probably a lot more than you imagine.
I started this channel at a very low and lonely point in my life where I honestly had next to nothing aside from maybe 1 real friend, my mother, and my father, and to see how much I've grown over the years and grown with my audience (you guys) as well as this channel has been beautiful. I never would've thought the young guy sitting in his room all alone day after day, just working, doing school, barely sleeping, next to no friends, making edits would have over 4 thousand people actually interested in what he was making. Today, this year, I'm doing so much better and to be honest, it was largely because of you guys. Everyone I've met through editing, all the things I've learned from all of you, I am thankful for all of it.
A very special thank you to the man who actually inspired me to start editing, @donatedpizza . You showed me so much about how to edit and really be great at my craft. I'm forever greatful for what you've given me and inspired me to do man.
Finally, I am deeply sorry I haven't been able to edit as much as I was earlier this year during the summer, but that's sadly life. I have people that depend on me now, and I have a lot of responsibilities in my personal life I need to take care of, but as always, I will always try my absolute hardest to bring you guys edits. And I will try to keep that to 1 edit per week. Again, thank you, ALL of you. Thank you so much for everything you've given me, and I hope you guys appreciate all I've given you.
I just dumped like 12 videos on tiktok and all of them are horribly being compressed by tiktok. Most if not all of them were 1080p - 2160p and I watched them and theyre all in like 480p for some reason. At least I'll be editing the Dark Knight Trilogy and American Psycho next for you guys. fuck my stupid editor life

Today I've decided I'm going to start a BRAND NEW tradition for this channel that gives back to the editing community. Starting today I am going to start "Editor of the Week", and in this new tradition, I will be randomly selecting ONE editor EVERY WEEK to shout them out on my community tab and link an edit of theirs that I like on the same post.
This is a 100% FREE thing, and all you have to do is comment "Editor of the week" on one of my edits (I will be ignoring everyone commenting it on my COMMUNITY POSTS, only comment on my videos) and I will shout you out!
The shoutout post will be posted EVERY SATURDAY at 8:00pm EST. (The first Shoutout is happening THIS SUNDAY!)
All that news out of the way, I want to speak candidly. I am sorry for the slow down in uploads, I know its been over a week since I've uploaded an edit but my life has been a bit busy and its actually turning out pretty good for once! But when my real life gets busy, my online life takes a backseat. So I WILL be sticking to the once a week upload schedule to the best of my ability, but to compensate for the slow down I thought I could start this new tradition that not only is a way to communicate more with you guys but also to give back to the community that changed my life. I love each and every single one of you guys, you've done so much for me, a LOT more than you probably realize but seriously, Thank You. This is my way of giving back to you guys. Uploads sadly will be slowing down. I've been absolutely burning the candle at both ends for about 5 or 6 months trying to make as many edits for you guys with the best possible quality and length I could, and I like to think I did a pretty good job. Most edits released this year from me have been around a minute or 10 seconds shorter or 30 seconds longer. But I'm getting pretty busy and I just can't keep editing this intensely without sacrificing other parts of my life that are very important to me and my future. So instead of 2-3 edits being uploaded a week, it will probably be closer to about just 1 upload a week, and if I have time, maybe 2 edits a week. Possibly even less than 1 upload a week because some edits take a really long time to make. BUT THE QUALITY OF THE EDITS WILL STAY THE SAME!!! And the length of my edits might get a little bit longer depending on the edit. Uploads sadly will be slowing down.
