My original song Ancestors Forever! / Mababu Milele has been used in ANOTHER professional production!
Motion graphic artist LeConte De Zick from French Guadeloupe in the Eastern Caribbean has incorporated my song into his recently released series Bitasyon Wody.
This story covers many topics related to island life during the French Colonial Period.
My song is used at the beginning of Episode 5 when the enslaved African islanders have a scared communal vision and are led to freedom!

It began a few days ago when picked up an old tongue drum I've owned for almost 30 years. I had no initial intention to record anything but ended up liking a rhythm I came up with. I grabbed a mic and recorded it. Well, one thing led to another and I kept laying down additional tracks.
As usual, the song became its own awareness and it completed itself.

My original song Ancestors Forever! / Mababu Milele is currently being used in a professionally produced play about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Garden Theatre in Winter Garden, Florida!
"The Mountaintop" is an award play by Katori Hall that covers Dr. King's last night on earth. My song accompanies the crescendo at the end of the play as Dr. King enters heaven and is having visons from God.
It's an honor and privilege to have my work recognized and utilized by such a talented and sincere group of professionals!
The show is running now through February 6th.
My wife and I attended one the performances last week and this play is very moving, timely and full of surprises!
