Sneak peek: “New Art Goodies!” 😄

I’ve been slowly collecting some beautiful new art supplies over the last few weeks, while I’ve been focusing on recovering from a course of dental treatment. On Saturday afternoon I finally sat down in the studio to play with them, and it felt so good. 🥰

Here’s a little look at what’s on my desk right now – willow charcoal, soft pastels and some autumn sketchbook experiments. The full “New Art Goodies!” cosy studio art haul will be live today at 3pm (UK time).

Finally ticked this off my creative to-do list! 🎨✅

After weeks of designing and tweaking, my new Christmas card, today I have finally sent it to print! 

There's something so magical about seeing your artwork transform into something people can share with their loved ones.

This robin design was my first ever coloured pencil piece - created entirely with Faber-Castel Polychromos pencils! I'm so excited about how the coloured pencil technique brought this little robin to life with such rich, vibrant textures. You can see both the front and back in the photo - and yes, this little guy is finally finished and ready to bring Christmas cheer to someone's mailbox!

This perfectly captures what I love about my channel - it's beautifully eclectic! One day it's plein air painting adventures in Cornwall, the next it's stormy beach walks that spark new ideas, then studio experiments, travel art in Birdie my micro camper, or nature journaling sessions.
