I am very pleased to announce that my new book, "Paul Tillich in Plain English," is now
available!
It has been five years since the last book in this series (on James Cone), and it feels great to
return to it after an eventful season of growth and learning (I completed an MA and started a
PhD!).
I am quite excited about this one, and I hope it will be a helpful resource for you! Please help me
spread the word to anyone you think might be interested!

I am considering a Patreon or a similar platform for monthly support, but I wanted to ask informally if that's something people would be interested in. My idea was that every subscriber (regardless of the subscription level) would have access to a monthly live seminar, where I'd discuss a particular text or theme, followed by a Q&A session. They'd also have access to the papers and essays I've written.
If that's something you're interested in, please like this post. And leave any suggestions you might have in the comments. Even a small monthly income from this would help me devote more time to YouTube, which is currently fairly low on my priorities. Thank you! And as always, thank you for all the kind support!

Two pieces of exciting news: I am late announcing this publicly, but a few months ago, I began a doctoral program in systematic theology at the University of Aberdeen. I am researching Karl Barth's Theology of Resistance under the supervision of Dr. Bruce McCormack. I am excited about where this journey will lead me as I step more into academic work!
Along those lines, I've just had my first journal article published! It is a reflection essay I wrote during seminary and reworked for publication in "Currents in Theology and Mission," an open-access journal of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and Wartburg Theological Seminary. The paper is "On the Inadequacy of Personal Sin: A Socio-Political Alternative." You can read it here: currentsjournal.org/index.php/currents/article/vie…

I just discovered that all my recent YouTube videos were mistakenly set to "hold all comments for review." So no comments were showing up. Oops! Sorry if you commented previously and I did not respond; I've updated it now.
