Some estimations size of the King of Katmai, Van.

In the film he was stated to be at 1200lbs of not more. He more likely to peaked out at 1300-1500lbs in his prime.

As for the second largest Polar Bear population, Hudson Bay, all 94 males at the age of 5yrs+ were considered to be at the weight of around 1000lbs+ which is insane due to the fact that they're still growing till the ages of 8-9yrs+ https://domainofthebears.proboards.com/thread/61/size-matters?page=2

Freak Speciemen of a Ussuri Brown Bear there. On average a fully grown male Ussuri Brown Bears only tend to average at around 567lbs-631lbs. Largest scientifically confirmed Ussuri weighted at a whomping 1543.24lbs, that's roughly close in size to a fully grown male Foxe-Basin Polar Bear. infos here I used are from Proboards and Domain Of Bears

Text translation: “Nonetheless, this unique trophy was obtained this autumn in the Krasnoyarsk Territory with four hunters almost stuffed with lead, with a total (total) weight of 680 kilograms. (Accurate weight, all taken out and weighed), the skin is about 3 meters long, and the corn kernels are 25-27 centimeters wide (all told by friends). The photo was not from Bing, but was sent to his phone by a friend via MMS. The hunter in the photo is 182 cm tall and unknown in laek circles (so far), but there is a well-known larvae involved in the hunt..."

4th pic shows charts of 8 adult males being weighed.

Some pics of gigantic Polar bears possibly being overall 1200lbs-1400lbs

Sadly most pics were considered to be hunting probably for trophies or food.

Except that 5th and 6th pics where Polar Bears are sedated instead of being actually hunted.

Polar bear in the 6th is named Stan when was weighed a whomping close to 1800lbs. Which was also found in Foxe-Basin.

Truth about Polar Bears "fleeing" from Brown Bears:

Obviously there is an thing where most people tend to think grizzlies are far superior just because their know to scare of group of Polar bears just by being far aggressive.

However the truth of it is that, in most alterations Sub-adults/female Polar bears were more likely to flee onsight from Grizzlies rather than fully grown large males instead.

Tho grizzlies being adaptable are able to fit it within both warm and cold climates and they're omnivorus diet, making them much bigget risk-takers. As for Polar bear such as being hyper-carnivores, aren't willing to risk any injuries from conflicts and any altercations.

In conclusion: I'll maybe favor the coastal brown bear((might include the Kodiak)) being more dominant towards Polar Bears when it comes to territory display, on average.

However when in comes to fight to the death, Polar Bear due to overall size advantage ((one's in Foxe-Basin are even larger))

There are times where Polar Bear fend off a Grizzly with it's kills.

Such as the 2nd Pic taken in 2013.

I couldn't find or remembered the original credit to the photographer, only remembered his first name being Troy..

Also a reminder in the 4th pic that, Barren Grizzlies are quite larger than regular Grizzlies ((such as yellowstone grizzlies)) on average.
