uhh LORE drop her past name was Genesis and it has a little purpose behind it

as you can see it means “beginning”, she was the first architect to be shown in the game; she’s also probably one of the oldest people in the lore and her owning the hotel could’ve possibly (and very indirectly) caused some deaths (haha butterfly effect). so her role/existence here was technically just the beginning or this whole ordeal.

oh- and, her parents were religious (it’s the 20th century brochacho) even tho they were horrible to her

she might come off as a bit too cold or perfectionist (even robotic), but deep down, she’s a very kind person who wants the best for people, she tries to show it in her own way. :)
