THE RAYS OF HEAVEN

Islam is a monotheistic religion founded on the belief in one God, Allah, and the finality of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the last messenger. It is the second-largest religion in the world, followed by over a billion people across various cultures and nations. The core beliefs of Islam are based on five pillars: Shahada (declaration of faith), Salah (daily prayers), Zakat (charity), Sawm (fasting during Ramadan), and Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).

The holy book of Islam is the Qur’an, believed to be the literal word of God revealed to Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel). Islam emphasizes values such as justice, compassion, modesty, honesty, and peace. It encourages the pursuit of knowledge and the care of all creation.
