"Failure is the greatest guru," my teacher Krishna Lama told me after witnessing my most humiliating breakdown during an advanced ritual. "Success teaches you technique. Failure teaches you truth."



After 22 years practicing authentic tantric traditions across India and Nepal's cremation grounds, I've learned that our greatest spiritual failures often become our most profound teachers.

Here are my 3 most devastating failures—and the wisdom they revealed:



🔥 FAILURE #1: The Tarapith Catastrophe
During my third year of practice, I attempted an advanced Kali sadhana without proper preparation. Halfway through the ritual, my body temperature spiked uncontrollably, my vision blurred, and I spent the next 8 hours violently ill, purging from both ends.



An elderly tantric found me the next morning, weak and humiliated. Her words: "Sometimes the lesson of failure is more valuable than the success itself. You learned respect for the tradition's power—something years of smooth practice couldn't teach you."
