fun fact: in gd, other than kappa and monodia, my claim to fame also includes the three mini ship trigger orbs right before the wave in arcturus

until further notice, i am no longer physiologically capable of playing gd. the fingers on my right hand have a strong tendency to curl in, and it even hurts when i try to type on my laptop keyboard for longer than 30 seconds. the crux of the matter is that i can't keep my right hand in a rigid semi-curled state for too long, and obviously this is very much not conducive to playing gd

if anyone's wondering why i haven't posted anything lately:

something's happened to my hand. i don't know what, but ever since i removed the grip stickers on my mouse (because they were peeling off anyway), the other fingers have failed to adapt to the new conditions, and my index finger just steadily moves back over the course of me playing, and eventually it just hurts to even play, but i'm not able to stop the finger moving back for some reason. maybe i'll get some sort of crowd control progress video up before the year is out, but i can't guarantee anything rn

NOTE TO EVERYONE PRACTICING KAPPA: DON'T PUT A STARTPOS BETWEEN 49.8% AND 50.6%. it messes up the d-block wave at 54%. i don't know how, but a number of people since 2.2 have had to beat kappa with this "harder" route because in startpos the d-block wave at 54 bugs out. i don't know how it happens, but i can attest that any startpos that falls within that range will bug out the d-block, but anything after that is fine. i've tried several fixes like adding more d-blocks or invisible slopes, but nothing has fixed it better than just...not putting a startpos in that specific range, so just keep it in mind!
