Sydney Camerata Chamber Orchestra was formed in 2008 with the aim of nurturing and promoting the talents of some of Australia's finest young string players. In 2010 Sydney Camerata were awarded the prestigious Musica Viva Award for Chamber Music. In 2012 the Sydney Camerata Quartet (SCQ) are Musica Viva's Rising Stars and the SCCO continues to present concerts in Australia.
