Hey everyone! I'm so happy to be back! That being said, if you want to see a video on a particular topic, feel free to share in the comments! I have some videos planned, but I'd like for some community ideas too. Thank you!
No, I'm not dead (Yet). I am very busy though. I've been taking Computer Engineering Grad classes for almost 6 months now. Having a blast! Don't worry, more videos are on the horizon! Thanks for all the support!
THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME YEAR! I cannot believe we are nearly at 2k subs! I set a goal at the end of 2020 to hit 1k by 2021 and we smashed that goal. As a thank you, for fun, I decided to make a Christmas Special. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/2UcorAC1MCU Thank you for all your support and here is to 4k by end of 2022!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
The semester is over! That means more videos. The Analouge Pocket was recently released and I was intrigued by the overall idea and design to say the least. It gave me an idea to do a video on FPGAs and hardware/software co-design with the art of designing a system with a FPGA and a microcontroller. The two are commonly used together and have some unique design challenges when interacting. Stay tuned!
Surprise! I have been extremely busy lately, but an opportunity opened for me to give a talk, so I did. I figured I would share it with you all since it directly relates to the channel content :) ENJOY! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlhA2...
Just want to make sure I keep you all in the loop of what is going on in my life lately. I've decided to pursue grad school while I'm doing my full-time job and my first semester just started a couple weeks ago.
That being said, videos will not be as often as once a week (except maybe in Summer while the semesters are not active). However, I'm not going anywhere and will still be making videos! It will just be a little less frequent.
Thank you all for the support and I hope to see everyone in the next one!
If anyone has any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments below.
Ever hear of a circular queue before? Well get ready for this week's video! You are in for a treat about designing a custom UART protocol. We will go over a custom framing and frame table design, interrupt handling as well as options for handling messages, A finite state machine to control incoming and outgoing messages, and how to debug and play around with these systems as well! Stay tuned! :)
