Spreading the Gospel of The Disco Biscuits! One New Fan At A Time. This channel - comprised mostly of playlists from some of my favorite Disco Biscuits shows, as well as requested shows from subscribers, and a few related and even completely unrelated random uploads - is intended for fans of The Disco Biscuits who are currently unable to afford a subscription to Nugs for any reason, but do not want to be excluded. So it primarily exists to give access to playlists of quality videos & recordings of The Disco Biscuits to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to hear them because they've found themselves indigent or in turbulent times.
I've never spammed my channel, i've never asked anyone to subscribe, and i have not, nor will i ever turn on monetization and/or place ads here: as a result, i have never made a dime from this YT channel. What i do here is purely for the love of the music that The Disco Biscuits create, & the passion for archiving their music.
Always Love.
B4L.

I’d like to highlight 12/01/2000 today as it now turns a quarter century old!
The first time I heard this show, it had been 7 1/2 years since the show had been played. And I remember thinking at the time that it felt so ancient and so far away from 2008 and now, a quarter century has passed. Wow!
And I can *clearly* remember the night that I was recommended this show. I was on Phantasy Tour, and I’m pretty sure the subject was excellent versions of Crickets. This righteous bro named Fake_Chasnoff recommended that I check out this version.
I can also remember finding the audience recording, which was not very good at the time before it had gotten a remaster, and I can vividly remember hearing the Segway from Floodlights into crickets and then going on to listen to the Crickets jam for the first time and being very impressed. It was the first few Sammy shows that I genuinely enjoyed.
If anybody reading this remembers Fake_Chasnoff on the black board, link him to this post. I’m sure that he’d find it at least a bit amusing that someone remembers an interaction with him from 19 years ago.

If you’re new to The Disco Biscuits, then I’m taking a moment to teach you about 10/23/07 set II on its anniversary.
Although Allen joined in late November’05, things didn’t really fully start clicking until June 06, and they didn’t find consistent footing until November/December ‘06. This was the catalyst for October 2007.
And in the second set on 10/23/07, moments like 10/17 I and 10/12/ I and 10/09 I and 10/19 I had all culminated into the birth of the definitive 2.0 as we now know it and love it today, as it emerged from the ashes of Ladies > and developed throughout the remainder of the set.
Ladies wasn’t always a heavy hitting Juggernaut. That aspect of Lasies as we understand it to be was forged in the great Boone barnfire on this night 18 years ago.

Hey friends,
About two or three, maybe even four weeks ago, someone requested a show. I have forgotten which show it was and who requested it. I'm hoping that they see this post and chime back in while i have this current momentum of going back to Winter/Spring and filling in the shows that i failed to archive while i was going through some personal shit that i needed to sort out.
Even if you didn't make the request, but you would *like* to request a Winter/Spring show that ended up getting left out, here and now is the chance to do so. I will be getting to any and all requests before getting to the material that i choose, when i happen to choose it.
Lookin forward to Nashville. Haven't been to a Biscuits show there since 09/24/09, which was my 26th birthday.
Hope everyone is doing well as we transition deeper into autumn, my favorite time of the year.
Always Love, and B4L4L;

This DB30 tour has yielded the most requests since i began archiving entire shows. Which i began archiving entire shows because of the requests and criticizing. I'd upload what i thought were the firemost sections of shows, but i'd get people complaining talmbout, "why didn't you upload _______?!?" "Why did you leave out _____ ___ __ ______?!?!?" (insert a random 4 minute standalone encore that still has literally 1 play each 7 years later).
But DB 30 tour has produced the most requests, and its not even close. And if i've missed any shows you were at that you haven't been able to re-listen to, shoot me a request. i honor any and all of them that i'm able.
And btw - new subscriber/viewer - speaking of 3 minute standalone encores, in case you did not know: if you get a notification from YT saying i've uploaded a 5 minute standalone, that means that i've uploaded the entire show that it's from in the form of a Playlist, which is linked in the description of every video. Or you can browse all of the Playlists in the Playlists tab of my channel.

Hey friends.
Since i've began archiving 2025 Biscuits over the past couple of weeks, i've gained quite a few new subscribers. This post is mainly for them.
If you see that i've uploaded a video for a show, that means i've upped the entire show. You can find a link to that show in the description. Or you can just go to the Playlists tab in my channel and search around like that.
Just wanted to fill yall in on the offhand chance that you did not realize. Because there have been subscribers who've went years before realizing this.

Hey friends! Just wanting to give an anniversary shoutout to 02/17/2007, which is, in my very humblest of opinions, one of the most creative setlists that Brownstein ever wrote during this first golden age of 2.0 Biscuits; which - in my opinion - lasted from November 2006 to mid March 2010.
This one is for subscribers of the channel who are newer and happen to have never known about this show, since it's somewhat well-known to the fanbase who's been around for a bit longer.
Get good and inspired and throw on this Slayerville classic!
