Meemaw's Moments

Hello everyone, this is Omega, I hope you are doing well! I decided to make my first community post to talk about what is currently going on with this channel and my plans for the future. First of all, I want to thank everyone who has been viewing my clips, subscribing and commenting, your support is always appreciated! I hope I was able to make some people discover Shiina and help show how wonderful she is! It brings me great happiness to be able to share those moments from her streams with all of you!

So you might have noticed that I haven't been uploading many clips this past month. One of the reasons is that my day job has been keeping me more busy than usual. But to tell you the truth, I've been in a mental slump and making clips was beginning to feel more like a second job than a fun hobby. I first started this channel because I wanted to support Shiina and I felt sad there weren't many clips of her. I had no prior knowledge on how to make clips or thumbnails and my editing skills are pretty much zero. Yet I felt like I had something to bring to the table, if only by the fact that I had the time to watch all her streams and take note of great moments. But I know that I can only continue making content on this channel if I am enjoying myself and not feeling stressed about it.

Some clippers are able to create new clips everyday while still adding great edits and I truly respect these people, but I am not one of them. I had an idea in my head of what a clipper should be like so I learned how to add subtitles, thinking it was the only way to be "respectable" as a clipper with my meager skills. The problem is, it takes me way too much time! I really love clipping Shiina's interesting and funny stories, but every time I dread the work of adding the subs. I know this is probably a "skill issue" on my part, but it is what it is.

So, from now on, I will no longer have subtitles on my clips. I am truly sorry for those who enjoyed them and found them useful. But like I said earlier, my goal with this channel was to support Shiina and help more people discover her. Uploading fewer clips just to add subtitles would be contrary to that goal! The good news however is that you can expect more regular uploads from now on. I'll keep doing my best and I hope you'll join me in giving Shiina all the love she deserves!
