Every night the friendly tree frog sits on the hummingbird feeder collecting bugs and today apparently he fell asleep! So we moved him to the voluntary sunflower growing next to the deck so he won't have far to go for tonight's dinner! 😊

This may not be a pretty looking picture but today in 10 minutes we gathered over 250 gallons of rain water in a couple barrels and this water trough which will water Athena's plants for quite some time! Survival is not just about starting fires or being able to sleep outside... water is one of the most valuable resources and learning to gather and filter water is just as important as gathering or foraging food.
